Glorious Riverview&Sunny Apartment*Historic Center

O alojamento

This apartment was totally remodeled in January 2019, and it has 2 shiny doublerooms with river view: one with suite (private entrance to bathroom inside the room), and another room with also a private bathroom that is the next door.
There is third Single bed (on your request, can be inside the living room or in one of the rooms). For big families there is also the possibility to put a single mattress on the floor of one of the rooms (please let us know in advance).

The apartment is fully equipped: modern kitchen with a modern induction stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, a cofee maker, toaster, washing machine and all utensils to allow guests to prepare their own meals.

Towels and linen are provided. Soap and shampoo are an also offered. Sunny mini balcony for catching morning breeze or moonlit evening contemplation.

Os arredores

Located on a street with almost no traffic, the apartment is part of Fontainhas neighborhood, a very traditional area where it is still possible to get to know the “ancient Porto”. Couples particularly like the location, as it´s viewpoints and secret places make the scenario even more romantic.
At the same time, the neighborhood is filled with transport connections to everywhere else in the city, as well as commercial spots, cafes, bars and restaurants. Here you’ll find a peaceful environment while being completely central at the same time.

Here we follow the original concept of Air BnB: to stay in local people houses and to see how they live, and to learn more about the culture, it´s reality and social habits. So, in addition to this contact with local life, the host is a dance artist/ teacher/ therapist: Teresa Fabião, from Porto. We´ll have the opportunity to meet and you also can demand any of the Air BnB Experiences that we have prepared for you (in different areas, such as dance/ capoeira/ cooking/ Porto´s local life, etc). If this feels like it might be the right space to support your travel, you will be supporting also our creative unfolding.

This apartment has an exceptional view to the annual show of fireworks in New Year Eve.
Also, the apartment is located right in the epicenter of the "Saint John´s", a party that happens just once per year, on the 23rd June. On this date, Porto transforms into a crazy Carnival with rituals, foods, fireworks, drinks and dances all throughout the historical neighbourhoods… A night when the city doesn´t sleep! Have the best experience and pictures of the party, and take a shower before catching your flight!
